One area to look for institutional money flowing is the oil drilling business. The excess capacity in the drilling business is just about used up. Drillers are going to be able to really expand their operations at this level of oil prices. Some candidates where institutional money is flowing are: GRANT PRIDECO INC (GRP) XTO ENERGY (XTO) NOBLE CORP SHS (NE) NABORS INDUSTRIES LTD (NBR) TRANSOCEAN INC ORD (RIG) PATTERSON-UTI ENERGY INC (PTEN) Even if crude prices cool a bit, the drillers will still find plenty of business for the foreseeable future. An enviable position for them to be in to be sure. |
